Our Founder Mark Is Cycling 600 Miles Across Four Countries
9 days · London → Paris → Amsterdam → Brussels · Two Charities · One Extraordinary Challenge
Our Founder Mark is about to embark on one of the most demanding physical challenges of his so far. In just one week, he will clip into his pedals and ride 600 miles across four countries travelling from London to Paris, then London to Brussels completing the entire route in just nine days.
This is not a sponsored fitness event or a casual tour. It is a deliberate, gruelling commitment made in support of two causes that matter deeply to us as an organisation: Cure Leukaemia, which funds world-class blood cancer research, and Best Mates, which provides crisis and welfare support to people when they need it most.

The Route
Mark’s challenge is split across two iconic city-to-city legs. First, he rides from London to Paris – one of cycling’s most celebrated routes, crossing the Channel and heading south through the French countryside. Then, he turns around and rides from London to Brussels, heading east through Belgium to finish in the heart of Europe.

Averaging roughly 67 miles per day across both legs, every stage demands sustained effort, mental resilience and a functioning rear derailleur. There will be long days in the saddle, sore legs and almost certainly some rain. Mark is doing it anyway!
Why These Two Charities?
Cure Leukaemia is a UK-based charity dedicated to finding cures for leukaemia and other blood cancers. It funds cutting-edge clinical research that gives patients access to potentially life-saving treatments unavailable elsewhere. Blood cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK research funding matters enormously.
Best Mates provides crisis intervention and welfare support, stepping in during moments of acute vulnerability to offer practical help, mental health support and human connection. In a world where asking for help can feel impossible, Best Mates makes that ask easier.
